We at the Champion Lake Vet Centre have been providing friendly and highly skilled care for Pet families for well over 24 years.

You can be assured that every one of our reliable and dependable team members will have the health and well-being of your Pets in mind at all times.

When you walk into our Clinic you will be assured of a comforting and professionally reassuring environment. Our warm and welcoming Reception and Waiting areas, quality examination rooms, on site diagnostics equipment and modern surgical suites ensure that your pets will be well cared for while they are with us.

Dr Colin Sherry

Dr, BSc, BVMS, CertVOphthal

Champion Lake Vet Centre - Meet Our Team - Dr Colin Sherry
Graduated from Murdoch University 1982 and has extensive Veterinary experience in both Large and Small animals gained from working both in the UK and Australia. Colin has provided veterinary services to the Royal Agricultural Society, Armadale Reptile Centre, AQWA, Perth Zoo and the Greyhound Association. He also has appeared on the following TV shows – ‘Today Tonight’, ‘It’s A Vet’s Life’ and ‘Animal Roadshow’. Colin has given many workshops and seminars on Ophthalmology for Pfizer, Lyppards, Provet and the Murdoch University.

Colin has been the owner and director of Champion Lake Vet Centre since 1997. Dr. Colin Sherry (BSc, BVMS, CertVOphthal.) has been involved in Veterinary Ophthalmology since 1989. He completed his Ophthalmology qualifications in the U.K. which is certified with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Lesley Sherry

Champion Lake Vet Centre - Meet Our Team - Lesley Sherry

Lesley is the Clinic Business Manager (and Co-owner) and has had many years experience in the field of Business Administration both overseas and in Perth as well as being a University Lecturer for 11 years.

She is available for appointments with clients who wish to discuss any aspect of the Clinic and their experience with us.

Dr Lucy Lane

BSc, BVMS

Champion Lake Vet Centre - Meet Our Team - Dr Lucy Lane
Is a Graduate from Murdoch University.

Dr Lucy is a very skilled and compassionate Vet. She has a genuine caring for fur babies and their humans and will always go that extra mile to help them where she can. On the weekends Dr Lucy can be found playing competitive Hockey – when her own adorable fur baby Archie isn’t insisting on being walked or cuddled!

Dr Amanda Chia

When not caring for all the animals at our Clinic Amanda loves playing the piano, doing Pilates, volunteering at the Temple and spending good quality time with her friends!

Cristl Rimmer

Senior Registered Vet Nurse.

Cristl is our Senior Nurse and brings such a colourful and dynamic energy to the team. She has a natural connection to the fur babies who come through our Clinic doors, especially furry felines and can turn the grumpiest kitty into a cuddly ball of fluff!

When she’s not doing brilliant work at our Clinic, Cristl loves the performing arts and is a talented aerial sports-person.

Samantha Golding

Registered Vet Nurse.

Sam brings such an energy and fun sense of humour to our Clinic as well as being a very skilled, reliable and professional Nurse.

Outside of work, Sam loves swimming and snorkelling.

Charlie McSevich

Registered Vet Nurse.

Is a Registered Vet Nurse. Charlie joined us as a Nurse student before graduating and is now a fully-fledged caring and professional member of our team.

In her spare time, Charlie loves exploring new places with her adorable “Sausage Dog” fur baby.

Outside of work, Michelle is a loving, dedicated parent who loves driving her kids to their sports on the weekends.

When Andrew isn’t playing with Robots in his day job, he looks after our Clinic by doing maintenance and repair work.

To relax Andrew enjoys Bouldering and Karate.

Matt Sherry

Matthew is the Clinic’s Practice Manager. It is his role to keep us all in line and make sure everything runs smoothly. His tasks are many and varied and he carries them all out with great efficiency and professionalism.

Matthew plays competitive pennants tennis to “unwind” after a busy week!
